Read what customers have had to say about BASSMAXX:
Hey all,
I am the current FOH guy for Alice in Chains. We just used these subs the other day at the Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee. The set up they put in that night was 4 McCauley CSM88 per side and 4 of these bassmaxx cabs spread across the front of the stage.
I never a/b'd the McCauley subs to the Bassmaxx ones separately but running together they rocked... I actually had to turn the subs down a touch during line check. I would guess that FOH at the ballroom is at around 65' or so and my pant legs were moving for sure. Hope this helped.

Well now we are awestruck!!! I mean it! When we put 2 BASSMAXX B1's (together) they came alive! It felt as if our building might come down. I can only imagine what 4 per side would do. They sound great, get real low and are very musical sounding. I have a 30 ft Hino Diesel truck in the shop having a Tag Axle put on it because of weight issues. What with weight being such a factor for trucking, 2 BASSMAXX per side would stomp the 4 double 18's per side we currently carry and I'm only going to use 1 amp. That is a savings of over 750lbs (at least) plus less truck space! Would I recommend buying BASSMAXX? Yes! WOW! All of my crew guys still can't believe the show last night, and the Sound guy, Mark, with Hank III was in awe of it being ONE single 18 per side. Now that's entertainment!

Never have I heard a better impact. Never EVER. It goes LOW and hits EXTREMELY HARD. The (two) BASSMAXX cabs blew my clothes back, and I was standing 45-50 feet away. Listening to either a bass guitar or an upright bass on the BASSMAXX was a sweet, sweet experience. You could hear and feel the different notes as they were being played rather than that one note that shakes the house down when the player hits it. These BASSMAXX boxes have the extension to get down there and give you a visceral colon cleaning. I think the BASSMAXX sounds great, especially when compared to other available subwoofers. Them subs ROCK!

The BASSMAXX cabs changed my perception of not only low end, but also of horn-loaded cabs in general. If you haven't heard these, well, you need to, and then you need to evaluate how unbelievably economical they are. In terms of clean SPL and zero wasted power, they deliver! Seriously, the savings in amplifiers alone makes them worth every nickel. Fewer amplifiers are required for double, perhaps triple the SPL, with the bonus that the SPL is cleaner at all frequencies, especially the lowest lows, which, as we learned, are not produced by our favorite subs. The BASSMAXX are more versatile. Yes, they reproduce 20-40hz better than any of our subs, but they also sound clearer and are much louder in the 40hz-and up range. Besides being thundering awesome, these subs are incredibly efficient and in my personal opinion the best value for massive SPL with incredible clarity at the lowest lows.

The BASSMAXX were the most MUSICAL sounding subs of the set under test. No specs can measure that. You cannot tell how a speaker will sound by looking at a paper. When I heard the BASSMAXX, for the first time I learned to listen to the subtleties of good sub sound. Then I came back home and I must say that I'm not able to listen to anything else: Many sound either smeared or like cardboard boxes and the best ones still lack the definition of the BASSMAXXES.

(The BASSMAXX) were the only sub to also reproduce the nuances of the music. During a bass guitar solo you could hear the bass player's fingers going up and down the fretboard. All the while having the impact that (they) had. NONE, and I do mean NONE of the other subs had that amount of musical reproduction to them.

The BASSMAXX are worth every cent. They Sound fantastic. There appears to be no or little coloration to the sound from the BASSMAXX. It has nothing "ugly". You hear the tone of the instrument, not the box. (The B-Ones) have already surpassed both SPL and sound quality of my 12 (____) single 18's. When I get the next two, I will have a sub system that will easily double what I would have had with the (____)'s if I had 16 boxes! And still no need for any more amplifiers! So four boxes and two amplifiers makes economic sense and saves a heap of time for me.

I thought the power, extension, and efficiency were not the only advantages. The BASSMAXX were also much more pure sounding. No extra overtones. No sound of their own. Very musical. That, I believe, is a tough conclusion to draw when listening to sound reinforcement subwoofers. The BASSMAXX sound quality becomes really apparent when you have the competition present for direct comparison. In fact, it becomes obvious.

We've used them in our church since July and have been thoroughly pleased. The amount of air they move and the lack of distortion is truly amazing. It may be a bit of overkill... Still, don't wear a hairpiece on Sunday morning!

BASSMAXX gave us three times the sound by using one-quarter of the speakers and half the power! Without a doubt, this is the highest quality bass cabinet built anywhere. The sound is incredible. At any volume level, the bass from these speakers can only be described as "crystal clear". We have achieved a frequency range much lower than anything we could get out of our previous equipment. After this experience with BASSMAXX, I won't use any other speaker in our nightclubs!

Coming from a person that never thinks there's enough bass, the BASSMAXX cabinets gave me such a thing as more than enough! It's just fantastic! I can't say enough about them and the people behind them.

BASSMAXX speakers deliver incredible sound, at even the highest levels. In almost 20 years of DJ-ing I have not worked with a more reliable system.

Great sounding sub! I did a hip-hop show with 2 per side out doors. I also covered 10,000 people at a jazz show with two total! They filled the whole thing (>300 feet by 180 deg arc) with clean clear and defined bass.

The best sub I've encountered recently has been the BASSMAXX. Their efficiency makes a little go a long way. We just finished a short reggae tour up to 4k seating using 4 per side with the bands' engineers somewhat astounded that only four 18"s gave them the low end they wanted.

I own 4 BASSMAXX B-Ones myself. I run a six piece band and sub-contract festivals and events on the side. I have also done a number of national acts with them, and they have performed flawlessly. I am running a QSC EX4000 per pair, and still have plenty of head-room to handle several thousand people in a club or hall environment. In 6 years of live audio production, working with major sound companies, I would say that I have found none better.

Five years ago... I purchased B2's (to accommodate my truck pack). I found them to be far superior to all other designs; until now with the release of the Bassmaxx Trip (X3C) and Deuce (X2C) bass cabinets. The Trips which I purchased are "AWESOME". They go lower, hit harder, throw further and (most importantly) sound better than anything manufactured by anyone. Take it from someone who compared other national brands... these are the highest SPL rated, best sounding cabinets available on the planet!!!!!!!

I have been a mobile, radio, and club dj for 17 years and have never been so happy about a speaker purchase in my life. I currently own four of the deuces running on a powersoft k6 DSP amp and the looks I receive are priceless. I cannot wait to purchase the 2109s that are hands down the best tops I have heard. Keep up the great work and thanks for the awesome customer service. You guys are the Lexus of the speaker industry (the relentless pursuit of perfection).
